New webinterface, new REST API endpoint
- The webinterface based on Vaadin 8 has been removed from the product. This fixes the issues CVE-2021-33609, CVE-2025-9467, CVE-2025-15022 of the Vaadin 8 framework.
- All Vaadin dependencies have been removed from the product
- The web interface is now based on the REST API of the mendelson AS2. Means the whole communication between web interface and the server is done by REST. Please have a look at the documentation for information howto set it up and configure it.
- The minimum Java version for the mendelson AS2 is now Java 17. Please install a new VM under Linux if you are updating from an older version which required Java 11. If is no longer possible to run the mendelson AS2 under Java 11 or smaller.
- REST API: There is a new REST API endpoint /messagedetails which shows details of outbound messages and their MDN
- REST API: The /log endpoint to get log information got a new filter[status] to filter for pending, stopped and finished transmissions
- REST API: Timestamps were in wrong format and ignored the timezone (init time, processing time, send time)
- If you cloned a partner in the partner manager the HTTP header have not been lost for the new partner
