I'm new to this forum and new to Mendelson opensource AS2 1.1. I've been setting up trading partners and sending EDI back and forth for about a year now.
When I get a new trading partner I create a cert and send it to them.
Today I noticed that the cert is valid from 05-18-16 thru 05-18-18. I looked around and can't find anyplace where I can change the expiration date.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
this is not an issue of our software - you cannot change the expiration date of a certificate. You could renew it at your CA but once the expiration date is set this is a fixed value.

I found the answer. For any other who experience this problem, there is a solution.
The cert is created from the Key.
Go into File, Certificates, Sign/Crypt, Tools, Generate new key. From here, click on expert view if you want to change the 'size', otherwise just fill in all the details.
Now, with a new key made, you can can generate a new cert all within Medelson.
Above you say that this isn't an issue with the software. The issue is if you're new to the software and find your cert expiring, how within the software do you fix the problem.
Easy, you generate a key which in turns allows you to generate a new cert.
